Really knows what they are doing in terms of treatment. Treated my knee and migraine. I could walk on my left leg as my knees was really damaged and Jen treated it to the point I could walk and feel little pain now.

Jen and her team have been treating me for a few years now. They're always very professional and caring. The clinic is clean and well maintained. For those who are concerned for covid safety, Jen's clinic maintains a great ventilation standard (we measured it with an Aranet) and she also runs an air purifier. I really recommend them.

The team at Pro Health Clinic have done wonders to my shoulder injury. I’ve been to multiple physios over the years with no success. After just one visit to this clinic, I immediately felt a massive difference and now and fully recovered. I am so grateful!!! I have referred my whole family to see them and they also speak very highly of their experiences. Would highly recommend ???

Joint Dysfunctions and Injuries

Take Advantage of Our Complimentary PRE-ASSESSMENT

Your joints play an important role in connecting two or more bones to allow fluid motion. However, while these joints are built robust, they’re still prone to injuries. If you’ve recently been in a bicycle wreck or car accident, fallen in a contact sport, or simply repeated a motion through sport or manual labour, you may be at risk of a joint dysfunction or injury.

There are a number of risk factors when it comes to joint dysfunctions and injuries. These include lack of physical fitness, poor form during activities, weight, age, and previous injury, to name a few.

At Pro Health, we treat a range of joint dysfunctions and injuries. Please visit us for an assessment.

Common joint injuries

Dislocation
Dry needling is a common technique used by many health professionals such as Chiropractors, Physiotherapist, Osteopaths and Massage therapist. Dry needling is a procedure that requires the use of acupuncture needles that are inserted into myofascial trigger points.
Sprains/ Strains
Frequently occurring among athletes and those who lead highly active lifestyles, sprains and strains may not always require professional treatment. However, a splint, physical therapy, and nonsurgical treatment may be recommended.
Tennis Elbow & Golfer’s Elbow
As the names suggest, Tennis Elbow and Golfer’s Elbow are caused by overuse. While icing and elevation along with physical therapy are generally the only self-care treatment needed, in some cases surgery may be required.
Rotator Cuff Tear
The rotator cuff refers to a group of tendons in the shoulder. Tears are quite common, and they can immobilise an individual’s use of their arm or shoulder. While painful and an inconvenience, a rotator cuff tear can be treated through physical therapy and/or orthopaedic surgery.
