This information is collected directly from you, and where relevant, from referring practitioners or other treating providers with your consent.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide clinical assessment and treatment, manage appointment bookings and reminders, process health fund and Medicare claims (including via HICAPS), communicate with other healthcare providers involved in your care (with your consent), and meet our legal and professional record-keeping obligations.
We do not use your health information for marketing without your explicit consent.
Storage & Security
Your information is stored in secure clinical management software with restricted staff access. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure, including physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards.
Health records are retained in accordance with applicable state and Commonwealth record-keeping requirements for healthcare providers.
Disclosure to Third Parties
We may disclose your information to your referring GP or specialist, other treating practitioners involved in your care, your health fund or Medicare for claiming purposes, and government bodies where required by law.
We do not sell or trade your personal information. Any disclosure outside of these purposes requires your consent, unless required or authorised by law.
Access & Correction
You have the right to request access to your health records and to request correction of information you believe is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Requests can be made in writing to the clinic using the contact details below. We may charge a reasonable administrative fee for providing copies of records, in line with applicable regulations.
